With 23 business locations, strategically located throughout the country, Greenham has over 950 dedicated employees specialising in the supply of Personal Protection Equipment, Cleaning and Hygiene Supplies and Contractors Site Equipment.

The local branch network backs a national sales team, with dedicated internal and mobile field sales representatives. All receive continuous training to work with you and your business to handle orders efficiently and effectively, to offer technical advice and quickly solve any problems.

The company has a £20 million stockholding backed up with a National Distribution Centre in Swansea. In addition, a permanent office in Hong Kong continually sources quality products that, where appropriate, are tested and approved to the latest EU specifications.

At Greenham, no order is too big or too small with the majority of products offered in single units. Standard case or pack quantities are stated in catalogues where appropriate.

Greenham undertake to stock the majority of products featured in their catalogues at all branches. More specialised items may only be available at certain branches according to customer demand or to special order. These items are marked # in the catalogue alongside the Greenham code number. These "to order" items can normally be delivered in 2 to 7 working days from receipt of order.

The Greenham e-commerce philosophy is to utilise the power of the internet to connect customers with data and program computer systems to manage the process automatically.

To meet this objective, significant investment has been made by developing a virtual .net architecture with modular flexibility to enable e-trading across most platforms.

All current catalogues are available on line. Orders can be placed via credit cards and enquiries made. The site also contains useful selection guides, data sheets and information on relevant legislation.

Account customers, via a secure login, can access a range of other services. Orders can be placed using contract prices either on account or via corporate credit cards. Invoices and credit notes together with proof of delivery can be viewed and downloaded together with statistical information.

Once logged in, customers can create their own personalised catalogues, save baskets for future use or use a quick order system. Their internet order history and top 10 most commonly ordered items are automatically generated.

Security

The back office facilities of www.greenham.com operate in a secure certificate (https://) environment.

Account holders can also specify which products they wish their employees to view and set daily, weekly or monthly spending limits.

All internet orders are automatically processed into the Greenham systems with e-mail acknowledgment by return. For logged in customers, this is quickly followed with details of the supplying branch and the delivery note number for order tracking.

Top line or itemised invoices can be downloaded as .CSV files directly into Excel or in batches of up to 50 in e-Bis XML format.

e-procurement Systems

For customers wishing to trade via e-systems such as Ariba, CommerceOne, Coins, SAP and Oracle, Greenham can produce data in customised CIF, XML or Excel fully coded to latest UNSPSC standards with any current electronic image or direct URL links. greenham.com also offers punch out facilities.

Marketplace Internet Sites

For companies signing up with "Marketplace Sites" or Portals, Greenham are able to supply electronic catalogues on request. Greenham reserve the right to negotiate fees.

e-mail

All branches have dedicated e-mail addresses. This enables customers to communicate direct with their nearest branch.

Wide Area Network (WAN)

All Greenham IT systems at head office and branch level are linked via a powerful wide area network for voice and data transmissions.
